"I don't really know, Cael. Probably because of the medicine he's been taking."
"Why did you give him medicine that would make him feel bad?"
"That's just a side effect. The medicine makes his lungs stronger so he doesn't cough or have trouble breathing. But sometimes medicines do other things that we don't like while they make us better."
"And that's why Graham is grouchy?"
"Yeah, I think so.""Oh, okay. I thought it was because I punched him in the leg. I guess not."
